Pelican Wire moves to Naples, Florida and continues to develop expertise in alloy based wire products.

Pelican Wire moves into the current 33,000 square foot manufacturing facility and future home of Wire Experts Group.

Company transitions to Employee Ownership, becoming a 100% employee owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. (ESOP)

Precisions Resistance Technologies is created to service a growing need for heating applications in the Tobacco industry.

Rubadue Wire is acquired from the Rubadue family, adding 40 years of experience manufacturing high quality fine gauge wire for the transformer and electronics industry.

Wire Experts Group is formed as a holding group for Pelican Wire, Rubadue Wire, Precision Resistance Technologies, and Wire Experts Team. Ted Bill is named as CEO of Wire Experts Group.

Wire Experts Group acquires Kerrigan-Lewis Wire Products of Chicago, Illinois. This business is incorporated into the Rubadue Wire bringing Litz wire manufacturing to the Rubadue brand.

Wire Experts Group acquires the high temperature line of thermocouple wire products from Watlow Electric known as Serve Rite. The manufacturing of these products is incorporated into Pelican Wire.

Wire Experts Group moves Rubadue Wire into their current 47,000 square foot factory in Loveland, Colorado to allow for continued business expansion and investment.

Wire Experts Group re-organizes the manufacturing operations of all brands under a single leadership team to drive efficiencies.
